This luxury residential development in Edgewater, NJ, is a modern hillside retreat designed to harmonize with the surrounding topography and panoramic city views. As Project Architect and Designer in collaboration with WSM, I led the architectural vision from concept through detailed development, integrating both environmental sensitivity and sleek urban sophistication.
Nestled against a steep slope, the design maximizes natural light, privacy, and view corridors. The terraced massing and cantilevered balconies enhance spatial flow while creating a visual rhythm across the facade. The project includes multiple duplex-style townhomes and apartments with private garages, fitness amenities, and integrated smart-home features.

Challenges & Solutions:
One of the primary challenges was designing across a severe slope while ensuring accessibility and structural efficiency. By integrating a split-level design and stepped retaining walls, we maintained a cohesive circulation strategy and minimized site disruption.
