Modern Multi-Family Housing Development

Role: Design Consultant, PD, PA & Renderer

This newly constructed development at 41–47 Astor Street in Newark, NJ, consists of three four-family residential buildings designed for modern urban living. Each unit reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainable design, comfort, and functionality—blending clean, contemporary architecture with the practical needs of today’s families.

The buildings feature spacious open-concept floor plans, energy-efficient windows, and durable eco-conscious materials that ensure long-term performance with minimal maintenance. Brick and metal panel façades give each unit a bold, urban aesthetic while creating a unified and elevated street presence.

Private balconies with sleek glass railings, attached garages, and sustainable landscaping add convenience and curb appeal. Accessibility and code compliance were carefully integrated into the design, ensuring the homes met all modern requirements while remaining flexible for future needs.

Located in a walkable neighborhood, these homes offer quick access to local parks, schools, retail, and transit, making them an ideal choice for growing families seeking a balance of city energy and residential comfort.

Designed using Building Information Modeling (BIM), the project benefited from precise coordination, efficient construction planning, and reduced design conflicts—delivering quality and accuracy from concept to construction.
